TIMINGS & THE VENUE
DTI kicks off with an evening celebration on Friday 4th May and finishes on Monday 7th May at lunch time after our final celebration. The Epic Centre at Lincolnshire Showground has been a fantastic venue over the last few years so we will be returning there again to use their great facilities.
WHAT’S HAPPENING
You won’t get bored at DTI! There will be loads of activities in the afternoon including Total Wipeout, DTI Champions League Football, Wii, workshops and much more. There will also be amazing after-hours entertainment and plenty of times and places to chill out.
As always we will be asking each youth group to make a video which will be shown as part of the entertainment on the Saturday night. This years theme is going to be ‘music videos’. Last years was movie trailers and the winning clip can be seen here. Time to be creative and get filming!
FOOD & COST
All meals (apart from Friday) are included in your fee, so all you need to bring is your cutlery, crockery and a drying-up cloth. A packed lunch will be provided on Monday.
The fee covers entrance, camping and entertainment. You may want to bring a couple of quid for the tuck shop, cafe and market place.
CAMPING
We will be sleeping under canvas so bringing your tent and sleeping bag will be essential! Feel free to share tents, but remember only girls with girls and boys with boys! Please speak to your youth leader about your group’s arrangements for camping and travel.
